How it decides
- Read Cloudflare edge metadata from
/api/regionwhen deployed. - Fall back to the browser timezone when local edge data is unavailable.
- Evaluate the current instant against the published promotion window.
- Mark 2x as available only when the promo is active and the current time is off-peak.

- Promotion period: March 13, 2026 to March 28, 2026 11:59 PM PT.
- Peak usage window: weekdays 8 AM-2 PM ET / 5 AM-11 AM PT / 12 PM-6 PM GMT.
- 2x availability applies outside peak windows.
- Enterprise plans are excluded.
Saimi Notes
- Saimi believes off-peak hours are ideal for code, zoomies, and strategic couch occupation.
- If 2x is unavailable, Saimi recommends the standard recovery plan: stare dramatically at the screen, then at the treat cabinet.
